Aside from that it was a decent experience. I put the gold back in the little cap they give you and walked away. After I told her that I'd already finished she started ridiculing me like a little kid (I'm 30) and telling me that I should listen to her because she has 30-something years of gold mining experience. She told me to throw everything that I'd already gathered and dried-off back into the wet pan and she'd show me from there. The old lady that works there came over to me and yelled at me that I was going to lose all my gold (after I'd already panned it out and had it in my hand looking at it). People will come around and try to help if you're having trouble.or even if you are having trouble in my case. As far as the gold panning, they give you a sack of poke and show you how to pan yourself. Maybe that's just a plug saying that Disney knows what they're doing.but still. Overall it's kinda cheesy.they take you on a little railroad line and give you some examples of how they use to dredge the area for gold, but it looks like something Disney would put together rather than the real-thing (which it is). If you've never been gold panning and wanted to give it a try, this would probably satisfy you.
